Richard B Liipfert, DMD
Dr. Richard B. Liipfert is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned an undergraduate degree in industrial management. Liipfert was also a member of 1973 Georgia Tech football team. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1985 from the Medical College of Georgia.
A native of the state of Georgia, Liipfert began his practice in Macon, Georgia in 1986. He spent 26 years serving residents in middle Georgia. After seeing the problems facing residents in nursing facilities around Georgia in regards to dental care, Liipfert was instrumental in finding a way to help out. In 2009, Dr. Liipfert founded Dynamic Mobile Dentistry, a mobile dental service that provides license, experienced dentists who deliver on-site dental care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Georgia. He sold his dental practice in 2012 and now focuses on the growth and success of DMD.
Liipfert is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and Central Georgia Dental Association. He is also a member of the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry and the Special Care Dentistry Association. Liipfert is a strong believer in giving back to his local community. Since 1986, he has provided free dental care to the children of The Methodist Children’s Home. He has also served as a dentist to the Macon Police Department and the Bibb County Sheriff Department. Internationally, he has participated in medical mission trips providing dental services to small villages in Guatemala. In his spare time, Dr. Liipfert enjoys spending time with his family and raising his peacocks.
